Jody Fontanetta is a fourth generation equestrian. Jody’s riding experience spans across many disciplines with dressage being the core of her training. She was a member of the United States Pony Club for many years. Jody has trained and competed on the national circuit in dressage through the FEI levels and participated in the North American Junior Young Rider Program. She earned her bronze and silver medal with the United States Dressage Federation.

Currently, Jody runs a riding program for all ages with a focus on classical horsemanship and Working Equitation at her farm in Milton, TN. In 2017, she was introduced to Working Equitation and hasn’t looked back. She has earned numerous high point awards through Level 5 in Region 7. Currently Jody is competing at the Advanced level (L6) with her grade gelding, Misty Morning Stash. She is proud to be a forerunner in building interest and support for working equitation in the Middle Tennessee area.

Jody is a L candidate for the USAWE judge’s program. She loves that working equitation gives classical training a purpose that has been lost in some modern disciplines.
